Mr. Paul James Isso, Esq., J.D, LL.M., is a practicing attorney in the state of Arizona.  Attorney Isso earned his Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, his Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.) from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan, and his Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from Wayne State University.

 

As a law student in ASU Law's LL.M. Program, Isso was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Student Association and the Intellectual Property Student Association.  He was also a contributor of two legal articles to the Cyberbear Tracks Cyberspace Law Blog and contributed to the PULSE publication.  He also conducted a 60 Minutes-styled interview of a Cronkite School journalism professor for the video-recorded program The Legal-Media Connection about media law issues and how such issues translate to the real world.

 

During his studies at Wayne Law, Isso was an associate editor on the Law School's Journal of Law in Society publication, and was subsequently elected to the Journal Board as an article editor board member.  He also served on the Law School's Student Bar Association Board of Governors as a governor-at-large, associate justice, an ABA representative.  Isso was also selected as one of 20 law student recipients among law schools nationwide for the American Bar Association's prestigious Janet D. Steiger Fellowship.  The Steiger Fellowship allows law students who have demonstrated commitment to public service to serve as Steiger Fellows and get the opportunity to work in public service and gain invaluable training and experience at state attorneys general offices.  Isso was the first law student from Wayne Law to be a recipient of the award.    

 

Attorney Isso has a vast amount of professional experience in the legal and media realms.  He has worked for an attorney general's office (including a stint as an ABA Janet D. Steiger Fellow), as well as personal injury and criminal defense firms.  He had most recently worked for a local personal injury firm in Mesa prior to starting The Isso Law Firm.  As for his media experience, he has worked as a television news anchor and show host for a television and radio station, where he was the anchorperson for the International News segment, as well as the host for the political talk show Your Political World.  Isso has conducted many interviews, for video-recorded programs and publications alike.  He has also written and reported for various publications.

 

In addition to his legal and media experience, Isso also has experience in the entertainment industry.  Isso has written and reported on various entertainment establishments and venues in Detroit and Las Vegas.
